What the reply can carry
A DM that ends in a booking is a different thing from a DM that ends in a link.
A real file, not a link to one
Attach a PDF from your library and it arrives in the DM as a file. A lead magnet that delivers itself is the difference between a download and an email address you have to chase.
Your booking page
The link goes to your own Klippme page — sessions, prices, availability, UPI checkout. They never need an account to book.
A recording or a course
If the answer to "price?" is a ₹499 recording rather than a ₹2,000 consultation, the DM can sell that instead.
A follow gate, if you want one
Ask them to follow before the link goes out, and send the reminder yourself if they have not.
A public reply under the comment
Everyone else reading the comments sees that the keyword works, which is what makes the next forty people type it.
More than one account
Run separate rules on separate Instagram accounts from one dashboard — a Tamil page and an English one keep their own keywords.
Safety
Built on Instagram’s official API
- Connected through Instagram Business Login, reviewed and approved by Meta.
- Three permissions: read comments, reply to comments, send messages. Posting to your feed, reels or stories is not one of them, so it is not something Klippme is able to do.
- Your access token is stored encrypted and used only for the rules you write.
- Nobody is messaged who has not commented on your post, replied to your story, or written to you first.
- Disconnect from your dashboard, or from Instagram → Settings → Apps and websites, and it stops immediately.

What is Instagram Auto-DM?
It is an automatic reply to people who interact with your Instagram. Somebody comments a keyword under your reel, sends you a DM, or replies to your story, and they get a direct message back within seconds — in Klippme’s case carrying your free guide and a link to your booking page, so the conversation ends in a booking rather than in a queue of messages for you to answer.
Does it reply to DMs and story replies, or only comments?
All three. A comment on a post or reel, a direct message, and a reply to your story each trigger their own rules, with their own keywords and their own replies.
Do I need a Business or Creator account?
Yes. Instagram does not allow this kind of access on a personal account. Switching is free and takes a minute in Instagram → Settings → Account type.
Can it send a PDF or a lead magnet?
Yes. Upload the file to your Klippme library once and attach it to a rule. The DM arrives with the file itself, not a link to a landing page that asks for an email address first.
Can it take the payment too?
That is the point of it. The link in the DM goes to your own booking page, where they pick a slot and pay over Razorpay and UPI, and the money lands in your bank account. Klippme takes no cut of the booking.
Will it post on my Instagram or message people at random?
No, and it could not. Klippme asks Instagram for three permissions — reading comments, replying to comments, and sending messages — and posting to your feed, reels or stories is not among them. Messages only ever go to somebody who commented, replied to a story, or wrote to you first.
