For pottery, art and craft studios

Pottery & Art Workshop Booking Software

A studio session is limited by equipment in a way most bookings are not. Six wheels means six people, whatever the enthusiasm in your inbox, and every seat also means a kit of clay or paint or wax that somebody has to count out beforehand. The Instagram DMs that fill the studio are also the thing that makes it impossible to know how many kits to prepare.

Klippme turns the announcement into a page with a real number on it. Seats stop at the count of wheels or easels you have, the kit count is simply the booking count, and people pay when they claim the place rather than on the morning. Beginners and returning makers can be separate sessions at separate prices, so a first-timer is never dropped into an intermediate glaze class.

What limits a studio that DMs cannot see

Equipment, not enthusiasm, sets the number

Six wheels is six people. A booking form that does not know that will happily sell you nine.

Kits counted from a guess

Clay, glaze, canvas, wax — portioned the night before against a headcount that is still moving.

Beginners in the wrong session

Somebody who has never centred clay arrives at a session built for people who have, and both halves of the room have a worse time.

Held seats that were never paid for

“I’ll come on Saturday” holds a wheel as effectively as a booking and as reliably as a rumour.

How it works

From enquiry to paid booking, without you in the middle

1

Set seats to your equipment

Wheels, easels, tables — the session closes at the number you actually own.

2

Separate the levels

A beginner’s taster and an intermediate session as distinct bookings, each at its own price.

3

Prepare for a paid list

The booking count is the kit count, known far enough ahead to portion calmly.

What you get for studio workshops

Seats matched to equipment

The limit is your wheel or easel count, enforced automatically.

Levels as separate sessions

Taster, beginner and returning tracks side by side on one page.

A gallery of finished work

Up to eight photos on the session page — the strongest advertisement a studio has.

Prepaid places

Razorpay and UPI at booking, so a claimed wheel is a paid wheel.

Multi-week courses

A six-week hand-building course sold once, with the whole run booked in a single purchase.

Studio address and notes

Where you are, where to park, and what to wear — on every confirmation.

Questions from studios

How do I make seats match my equipment?

Set the seat limit to the number of wheels, easels or work stations you have. The session closes itself at that number, which is the part a DM queue can never do reliably.

Can I keep beginners and experienced makers apart?

Yes. Run them as separate session types with their own names, prices and capacities. A first-timer booking a taster cannot accidentally take a place in an intermediate glazing session.

Can I show photos of what people make?

Yes. Group sessions carry a gallery of up to eight images on the public page. For a craft studio this is usually the thing that converts — people book the object they can see themselves making.

How do multi-week courses work?

Sell the whole course as one purchase covering every week of the run, rather than asking somebody to book and pay again each Saturday.

What if a piece needs to be collected after firing?

Add a collection note to the session description and to the arrival notes on your venue, both of which travel on the confirmation. Many studios also add a short collection slot as its own free booking.
